Cosy holiday home in Wien , Austria

Our small but cosy apartment is well situated in a charming and very central quarter. The house was built in 1889 and has a very special charm so as the apartment. At the moment the house becomes renovated so that in summer there should also be an elevator. In June we´ll get too a small balcony which is looking to a quiet yard . The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with all facilities, W-lan ,television (a small one!) , a spacious livingroom with an additional comfortable bedsofa (often used by kids (140cm) ,

The sleeping room ( bed:160cm) is quiet and small .There is no separated bathroom, the shower is situated in the sleepingroom. The flat is very sunny and friendly and has a special old charm.
It is said that Vienna is the city with the higest live quality in the world!! You will fully agree with that statement. There are a various number of aktivities during the year .Museums, exibitions, concerts ,operas, festivals ,open -air cinemas ,festivals ,sports, wonderful cafes, the Donauinsel, the Prater etc...,very different charming quarters like the Spittelberg where you can sit outside in the small "Schani "gardens eating ,drinking or only relaxing.
The monuments and the cultural events are numerous . The beauty  and charm of the city is extraordinary. Please visit the Vienna homepage for further information: www.wien.info .at.
Our small  flat  (47 m2) is situated in a very central but calm area .In 10 minutes walking distance you can catch the underground (U3/U6 ), tram and bus are at the corner. Special markets (Brunnenmarkt )are nearby. The 16teen district is a very multicultural and trendy district which offers you lot of different shops for food ,clothes etc.,a famous brewery ,the Ottakringer with a wonderful pub etc is very close,
Approximatley by 15 minutes walking distance you are also at  the central station (Westbahnhof) were a lot of public transfer is situated .One of the famous shopping miles the Mariahilfer Straße  begins there and ends at the Ring (Museumsquartier )
The inner city you we`ll reach by bike in ca.15 minutes.,by bus in 12.minutes.
The Danube ,The Wienerwald ,all places of interest are very easy to access.
Also the capitals Prague ,Budapest ,Bratislava are nearby  easy to reach by train or bus,so that you must not use a car. in Vienna there is no free parking but there are garages.(Also one in our street!)
We  can offer you our two (old)bikes . Biking  and public transfer is very attraktive in Vienna .We never use our car in the town.

The flat is our second home. So that we would could do a non simultaneous exchange. This year we would visit cities in Italy and we would like to go Amsterdam in September or October. But we are semiretired and flexible in any way.
We also rent our flat .To intervac friends for 55 Euros per night ,all included
