Cornwall- Apartment in a chapel building in historic sea harbour, near Coastpath.

Apartment 3, The Chapel, Harbour Village, Penryn, Cornwall TR10 8GG:
A lovely, light first-floor apartment, in a historic chapel, converted into three apartments, by the Penryn river. Near the Famous Barrel traditional pub. Winding narrow streets of traditional cottages lead up to the quiet little ancient town with it's cafes, old pubs, art shops and market hall museum. Famous for it's historic houses, Penryn is a hidden gem often overlooked by tourists. Five minutes walk along the ancient harbour (now renovated as housing) leads to Jubilee Wharf eco centre with its stunning view of boats and creek and Muddy Beach cafe terrace. River valley walks and creek side walks are within easy reach of The Chapel.
The apartment has an allocated parking space and sunny bench on a very small terrace by the river. However the delightful beach coves of Swanpool and Maenporth are only 10 mins drive away. Regular buses go to nearby Falmouth town with its Maritime Museum and Festivals. There is a small supermarket within walking distance. Local train station 10 mins walk links to London line.
The apartment has one double bedroom, a small bathroom with shower and bath, a small, bright studio room with arched Chapel window. The main vaulted living area has a kitchen area, a dining area, a small sofa and TV. Very steep steps lead up to an open mezzanine which has 1 or 2 camp beds.
Penryn is well placed to drive under 1 hour on day trips to discover most famous parts of Cornwall.
(Please note: we are currently hoping to arrange an exchange to Brugge, June21-July7 2026)
