Apartment in Reykjavík, Iceland
The apartment is located on the second floor of a four apartment house with partical views of the ocean. The house is located on a beautiful street in a peaceful neigbourhood from the 1950s with many smaller playground. The apartment has two balconies, one is on the south side and the other on the westside with a barbeque grill.
There are three bedrooms. The youngest kids have a bunkbed, the oldest kid has a 90x200 bed and the master bedrooms has a 160x200 bed.
It is a 15 minute walk downtown. Ten minutes walk to an outdoor swimmingpool (vesturbæjarlauginn) and 2 minutes west to the sea. The University of Iceland is 10 minutes away and the National Museum and our beautiful Nordic house is in the same area. There is a very nice walking path by the sea just 2 minutes from our house which leads to Nauthólsvík beach. We have a very nice grocery store (melabúðin), in a ten minutes walking distance. 4 minutes away there is a pizzaplace and a 7/11.
We would like to make an exchange during the later part of the summer 2024. Our apartment is available between July and August. Our hope is to make an exchange for approximately a week sometime during the period 15 jul to the 31st of aug.

About Our Family
My name is Iris, I work as a makeup and hairstylist mainly for TV and teater productions.
My husband, Finnur is an architect. We live with our 3 children in Reykjavik and are looking to exchange our apartment.

Lifestyle
We have diverse hobbies but we all like to hike the neighbouring mountains around Reykjavik. The children all play soccer, Emil also plays chess, Elsa and Isak play the piano.
We are open to exchanges in urban, suburban and rual ares. We like to travel and explore :)
