Beautiful appartment in a Parc zone of Gouda

We live in a lovely apartment on the first floor of a small apartment building (3 floors), with a private entrance in a park-like environment in a suburb of Gouda.
There are two bedrooms and therefore very suitable for a small family. (3 persons)
Excellent public transport (train, buses, bicycles...)
Very quiet area - close to shops and a big shopping center. Our house is very well maintained with a big nice terrace and view of the park.
It is a relaxing place with all amenities in a central location in Holland: village and city meet here. Gouda is not far from other cities such as The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Delft, Leiden in a beautiful polder environment with picturesque villages in the Krimpenerwaard near the Reeuwijkse Plassen (Lakes\

About Our Family

We are a retired couple (75, 73) with a lot of experience in exchanging houses all over Europe.
Our children and grandchildren live in different parts of the Netherlands.
Occupation: male: retired pastor / professor of theology; woman: teacher.
We have many international experiences: lived and worked in Indonesia for 7 years and in China (Hong Kong) for 3 years.
We live in a lovely apartment on the first floor in a suburb of the beautiful old town of Gouda. Excellent public transport (train, buses, bicycles..) Very quiet area - close to shops and a big shopping center. The house is very well maintained and we have a nice big terrace overlooking a nice park. It is a relaxing resting place close to all amenities of cities in South Holland and Utrecht (The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Delft, Leiden, Utrecht etc..)

We have two bicycles, which can be used. Several cycling paths/roads start five minutes from our house in the beautiful surroundings of Hart van Holland and from our house it is very easy to cycle to Gouda. Ten minutes by bike to the station with an excellent connection to Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Amsterdam, etc..

Lifestyle

We love to travel and enjoy culture and history, the beauty and energy of cities and towns. We have a lot of experience working and traveling in Europe, Indonesia, China and Africa and US.
We like to hike in the mountains, forests and rural areas.
We used to do this with our four children. Today they all have their own families and we like to do that as a couple to enjoy whatever creature, nature, culture, tradition and the ancient history of the areas has to offer.
