Small downstairs flat with garden in a detached house in a beautiful south German Spa town.

Snug as a bug in a rug

My home consists of a small downstairs flat in a detached house. The flat upstairs is rented and occupied.

The living room and kitchen look onto a large garden with a pavilion und terrace.

The garden is, bee and butterfly friendly - so a little bit the on wild side .

In the living room is a sofa bed and a wood burning stove-only for use only in the winter!!

There is a very small bathroom with a shower and sink. Adjacent to this is the toilet with its own space.

In the bedroom is a french bed( 140cm x200cm).
All the rooms are decked with wooden floors and rugs.

Bad Waldsee is a middle size town in Upper Swabia in Baden-Württemberg, south Germany. It is part of the district of Ravensburg and is situated 20 km south of Biberach an der Riß, and 20 km northeast of Ravensburg. The historic town is well known for its thermal baths, several clinics and rehabilitation centres. It is also renowned as the Wellness town with flair.

Bad Waldsee really has a lot to offer and is definitely a friendly german town for young and old.
On market days (Tuesdays and Saturdays), it really feels like you could be at a French or Italian farmer's market, especially when the sun is shining! (We've been voted the sunniest region in Germany!)
This is really a great place to go cycling and hiking, with lots of cycle routes and footpaths.
There is also a renowned golf course ,a climbing park, and the swimming baths adjecent to the lake.Or take a relaxing soak in the thermal baths.
Follow the path around the lake along the (Uferweg) and find restaurants with patio seating, boat rentals, coffee shops .

The public transport is excellent ,with connections to Münnich, Ulm and Stuttgart.

About Our Family

Originally from Cardiff, I’ve been living in this beautiful region of Germany for over 30 years and feel very much at home here. I'm single, a non-smoker, and a long-time vegetarian – though I respect everyone's choices. Friends and colleagues often describe me as calm, humorous, and open-minded. I prefer getting around by bike or public transport, which suits my lifestyle well and reflects my environmentally conscious approach to everyday life.

Lifestyle

My lifestyle is very basic actually,I try to live a minimalistic life without too much clutter, but without losing that "hyggelig" feeling. According to the motto "Own less.Live more"
.I do not own a car and i use the public transport or my Bike.
