A beautiful house in the countryside, 15 minutes from the centre of Oxford and 10 minutes from Blenheim Palace.
A four bedroom house, recently refurbished in the countryside, 15 minutes from the centre of Oxford and 10 minutes from Blenheim Palace. The first recorded reference to Yarnton was in 1005. Archaeology indicates that humans were settled in Yarnton near the river Thames (which flowed a more northerly route than now) about a mile south of the present village as early as 2700 – 1700 BC. The evidence is followed by late Iron Age and Romano/British enclosures.
Yarnton Manor is situated adjacent to a 12th-century parish church in an historic Oxfordshire village. The Manor has been entertaining and inspiring visitors for centuries and it's easy to see why. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and agricultural land, Yarnton Manor's setting could hardly be more picturesque.Trains from Yarnton (Oxford Parkway) to London Marylebone cover the 55 miles long route taking on average 1 h 7 with Chiltern Railways.

About Our Family
Hello,
We are a family of four, two boys, aged 16 and 10, myself and my husband. I am a writer, director and performer from Argentina and my husband is British and works as a senior director for policy in a think tank.
Lifestyle
We have chosen to reside here because we value the opportunity to experience nature in a tranquil setting, while also benefiting from convenient access to both Oxford city centre and London. The neighbourhood is characterised by its peacefulness, offering numerous opportunities for leisurely pursuits such as walking, cycling and accessing the nearby canals. Our residence is well-stocked with literature, musical instruments and games, providing ample entertainment for all members of the family. The space is conducive to both creative writing and moments of personal respite. The garden is spacious, and we have enjoyed the privacy, as our neighbours have been friendly and very respectful.
It is a good place for relaxation, physical activity and culture.
