We are a family of three with a perro de agua
Ängelholm is situated on the coast of Skälderviken in the north west of Skåne. It is a small town with about 45,000 inhabitants in the municipality. Ängelholm (the city of angels) is beautifully located close to the sea, forests and natural parks, and a river Rönne Å runs through the town centre where you can go canoeing.
The town has many shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also close to larger cities such as Helsingborg and Halmstad. In about twenty minutes by train you can reach Båstad, which is very lively during the tennis events in the summer. In the centre of Ängelholm you will find the railway station and the bus station. From there it will take you 20 minutes to go to Helsingborg, 1 hour to go to Copenhagen and Kastrup airport and approximately 50 minutes to go to Malmö.
If you prefer to stay in Ängelholm, the town has a large park, Hembygdsparken, with cafés and playgrounds for children. You can also visit the animals there.
There are several museums, for example the Railway Museum, the Aviation Museum and the UFO monument, which is located in the bird reserve by the coast called Sibirien. On this beach you are welcome to bring your pet. Golf courses, tennis courts and recreational areas, such as Frisbee golf and hiking routes are not far from here. Our house is located in the centre, not far from the large park with playgrounds and animals. When you wish to explore the surroundings feel free to use our bicycles.
