House in Bristol, Great Britain

Hello, and welcome to viewing our home.

We have a lovely 4 bed house perfect for a family or small group. We are looking to home exchange for between 3-7 days weeks during October half-term (within 24th Oct-1st Nov) 2020. We are looking for an exchange in the New Forest but would consider other UK options. We would agree that any exchange would provisional depending on the Covid 19 rules at the time. We would love to hear from you, please contact us if you are interested.

Our location
Our house is in Horfield, a very popular and vibrant area in North Bristol. We are a 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road; a road described as the last high street in Britain with hundreds of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. We also have a children's park, the local swimming pool and lots of lovely pubs to choose from within a couple of minutes walk from our house. There is also a wide range of walks/cycle rides to choose from in the surrounding area.

Bristol City Centre (2.5 miles) is an easy bus ride away, the buses run every 10 mins and is a 2 minute walk from our house. Bristol is a wonderful city, it has: The Waterfront, local markets, SS Great Britain, Clifton suspension bridge, great shops, museums, theatres, cinemas etc.. as well as the well known Balloon Fiesta held in August.

It really is a city with everything, as well as being ideally located for day trips to: the seaside, Bath, Wales and even London.

Our House
As you can see our downstairs is spacious and comfortable. It has a separate lounge and large family room with: kitchen, dinning room and children's playroom. The dining table is set out to fit 5 people, but extends easily to seat 8 comfortably.
Both the kitchen and playroom have patio doors which open onto a decking, with steps and a slide(!) leading into a gated garden, safe for children to play in.

On the first floor we have 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom, with a bath and shower. The bedrooms on the first floor are: Bedroom 1 - a large double bedroom,
Bedroom 2 - a large bedroom with a single bed that extends into a double,
Bedroom 3 - a small bedroom/ study with a single bed.

On the second floor (converted loft) there is a large double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom.

The garden has a decking area and grass area. It is still a peaceful area to relax in with table and chairs, a playhouse, slide and you will have access to our children's outside games such as a paddling pool, toy cars, balls, cricket bat etc...

There is wifi internet access.  We have all the normal appliances: washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, TV, DVD, etc...

We would welcome visitors from anywhere around the world who have an interest in exploring England and Wales. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we look forward to hearing from you,

Mel and Dave
