About Our Family
Recently retired from the Restaurant business, with 2 adult children. We live near Dublin, and Rostrevor is our 2nd home and is available for non-simultaneous exchange. Because we do not rent out the property, it enjoys the comforts of home without cluttered closets.Family and friends love the ambience and the location is in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. Stroll down to the pubs in Rostrevor, and meet up with friendly locals, or walk the beautiful hills. We are in the middle of "An area of outstanding natural beauty", and coming up from Dublin, as soon as we turn onto the coast road out of Warrenpoint we know we are in a very special place. Easy 1 hour access to Dublin and Belfast.
Lifestyle
As retired professionals and with more time on our hands, we are keen to see more of the world, and meet other people. We are well travelled, having worked and lived overseas in London ,Africa and the Middle East. Home for the past 30 years has been Dublin and we both enjoy Golf, Theatre,Walking, Reading, Home cooking and all things culinary , wine and craft beer. Travelling and visiting Museums, Art Galleries and Historic properties. Dining out is a real joy for us having run our own restaurant business for over 20 years, following previous corporate careers in Industry, but we still enjoy cooking at home. Married for 40 years, we are still very active, and enjoy a busy social life. We like to feel we keep a good house, and we would treat our exchange property with the same respect.
