Our beautiful apartment is in the centre of Amsterdam. We live on the 2th, 3th and 4th floor, each one consist about 55 square meters.
The living room is on the upper floor, with a beautiful view. In summer you even can sit on the roof.
The second floor is for the kitchen, the bathroom and the sleepingroom and our bottom floor is for 'work' (now that we are retired for study and hobby). Here we also have a comfortable, two-persons bed bank.

In the environment, on walking distance, there are a lot of galleries (Hermitage, Maritime Museum, Dutch Resistance Museum, Trope Museum, Jewish Historical Museum), markets (daily ‘Dappermarkt’) and shops. There is good public transport (trams, metro, busses, trains) from our place.
Parking your car is expensive, if you travel by car you can best leave it at one of the 8 P&R parkings at the outskirts of the city (see: http://www.iamsterdam.com/en/visiting/plan-your-trip/getting-around/parking/park-and-ride).

Because of the steep and unprotected stairs, the house is not suitable for small children. Also for elderly or disabled people it can be a problem.
Families with one, older, child are welcome.

Michèle has a beautiful apartment in Paris. Comfortable and nicely decorated, and for sure spacious by Parisian standards. In a nice and central location in Paris, good public transportation, and many cozy bistros nearby. Michèle was very friendly and communication with her went very easy and smoothly. We would love to come back again and can recommend an exchange with Michèle!

A great exchange! Caroline and Eric's apartment is spacious, comfortable, luminous, and exquisitely decorated. It is also very quiet, with a very relaxing view over greenery and a canal. The location is perfect for visiting the city, with buses right down the building. Caroline and Eric have been perfect hosts, very kind and helpful. We also very much appreciated that they lent us their museum cards, which saved us quite a lot of money. I very warmly and unreservedly recommend an exchange with them to visit this beautiful city.

Das Haus von Caroline und Eric entspricht genau ihren Beschreibungen. Wir haben uns in der geschmackvollen Einrichtung sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem die wunderbar ausgestattete Küche regte sehr zum Kochen an.Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut.Wir fühlten uns immer sehr gut informiert.Das Haus liegt zentral und ist gut mit der Tram erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es mehrere Parks zum verweilen Insgesamt war der Tausch sehr gelungen.
