Charming townhouse with splash pool in the historic heart of Pollenca, Mallorca

This traditional Mallorcan house has ben tastefully modernised whilst retaining all of its historic charm. It sits on the corner of two streets in the oldest part of the town and has a quirky passage between the large comfortable sitting room and the kitchen/dining area, which in turn opens onto a private courtyard garden with a small splash pool. It is in a peaceful backstreet, two minutes walk from the buzzing main square where there are bars and restaurants and from the surrounding streets with all sorts fo shops including groceries, clothes and souvenirs. Parking is free in Pollenca but cars need to be left either in the more modern part of town or one of the town's car parks. It is 10 minutes drive to beautiful beaches at Port Pollenca and Cala San Vicens. Pollenca sits in the World Heritage Site of the Tramuntana Mountains and they too are in easy reach.

About Our Family

We are a retired couple, both designers and we travel a lot by car and sometimes by plane. We always travel with our little dog (a tiny black Pomeranian) called Peggy and often with other couples or our family. We have one daughter who is married and she has two daughters one is 18 and the other is 1 year old.
We live in Mallorca but our family and many of our friends are based in the UK so we have lots of visitors but also like to meet up with family or close friends in other destinations.

Lifestyle

We like history and culture. We live in a World Heritage Site with mountains and beaches. One of us like to swim and the other likes to walk in the mountains. We also go a lot to Palma, a beautiful city with historic monuments, museums, art galleries and great shops. It's 40 minutes drive or an hour's bus ride from home. We are surrounded by great restaurants and food markets with fresh local produce and we like to cook and to eat out.
