We live in a very quiet district of Vienna in a beautiful surrounding (community-garden!)
Our apartment is about 110 square meters and has
- downstairs: one sleeping room, big living room with access into the garden, kitchen, bathroom and toilette.
- upstairs: galerie, guest room, home office, toilette
The apartment offers all comfort you need, there is also a private indoor swimming-pool, sauna and whirlpool in the apartment complex.( but closed because of Corona)
Viennas centre is very lovely with its Cathedrals, Museums, galleries, theatres and summer festivals - we will prepare several prospects of sight seeing. And you will love the famous vienniese coffehouses.
You also can go swimming, there are several possibilities on the "blue Danube", you can also go for a walk in the Vienna woods.
From our home it takes 5 minutes to the next tram and 10 minutes to the next underground, which takes you to the citycentre within 15 minutes. There is easy public transport access from and to the airport or railway station. We are used to go by public transport, we don't have a car. In Vienna it is not necessary to have a car. You can also make trips to Salzburg (3 hours), Munich (4 hours), Budapest (2 hours) or Prag (6 hours) by train.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung von Laura und Patrick sehr wohl gefühlt, alles war perfekt, wir konnten jeden Tag am Balkon frühstücken und haben hervorragend in den Betten geschlafen. Die Wohnung lag zentral, gleich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs mit S-Bahn und Busanbindung, was uns Ausflüge in die Umgebung leicht machte. Wir können dieses Tauschangebot sehr empfehlen! herzlichst Mercedes und Harlad aus Wien
All communication and arrangements in advance of the exchange was very easy going. Mercedes and Harald were very helpful when we had questions and even prepared some books and a children chair for our daughter. Their apartment is in a lovely housing complex which we enjoyed very much. It's of compact size, but very practical and cozy. Also the neighbours are very friendly and helpful.
