Renovated appartment in a family neighbourhood in the center
We live in an appartment that we renovated (that is what we do) in the Clot, a beautiful neighbourhood with pedestrian streets, green areas nearby, nice walks, children parks, shops and restaurants, and an old food market. Also, there is a mall (5min walk), cinema, and the beach is 2 km far away (30min walk down the popular "rambla de Poblenou"). All in the city center and very well connected by metro, buses, train.
Our appartment has a big living room, with lots of light and open view, 1 double bedroom, 2 single bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have air conditioned for summer time.
We also have a car in case you want to do day trips outside Barcelona, there are many beautiful places nearby.

About the neighborhood
We live in a great neighbourhood of Barcelona, named El Clot, next to Glories square (with the famous tall building - Agbar tower). It has old houses and buildings with character, lots of stores, cafes, restaurants and food market. Also is a nice, children friendly area with parcs and pedestrian streets. And still in the city centre, two metro stops from Sagrada Familia and less than 10min from Catalonia square stop. We also enjoy walking down the Rambla del Poblenou until the beach, around 30min. You can rent bikes and go through the sea side. We have a mall in 5min walk, with big stores and a cinema.
There are many things to do in Barcelona, but you can also visit many interesting and beautiful places less than an hour away to go by train or car. Villages, beaches and mountains. Catalonia is not a very big region but we have a little bit of everything!

We are a family of four. The mother (Nuria) is an interior designer who has very good memories about intervac exchanges with her own family when she was young, over 15 summers!
The father (Ferran) is a BIM specialist architect who loves boardgames.
We have a boy, Adria, and a girl, Abril. He loves drawing and Lego. She likes everything he loves, helping in the kitchen and going out to the park.
We all love good food, tasting local gastronomy, countryside surroundings to relax, also walking around new towns and cities, specially if there are children oriented activities. We are open to any European destinations.
