House in western Sweden by the lake with own beach

We live near a hamlet, Simmenäs, with about 50 houses, 10 km from center of Alingsås.
This place is perfect for those who like forest walking, fishing, swimming, picking berries and mushrooms.
Our home is a small house, 90 square meter, with a living room, one bathroom and two bedrooms, with total four beds. The house is comfortable with kitchen/laundry facilities, TV, stereo, CD, Internet access (Wi-Fi). Tiled stove in the living room and wood stove in the kitchen
The house is completely beside the lake Mjörn with the green forest behind, and the neighbourhood is very calm. Here you have the opportunity to meet the countryside just around the corner.
We have an own beach, where you take a swim, nude if you prefer. You have access to a small boat with engine and oars and you can fish pike, pike-perch and perch. Here are mushrooms, blueberries and lingonberry depending on period.
From house and grounds you have 180 degree breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Mjörn. The western location of the house provides amazing sunsets over the lake.
There is a garden with garden furniture and a grill
Unfortunately, our home is not adapted for small children.

From our home you have 10 km to the nearest city Alingsås, a small picturesque city in western Sweden Alingsås has around 38,000 inhabitants. With an attractive location and a growing number of inhabitants, the town is constantly changing. Yet it still retains its traditional atmosphere. Throughout the years, the town has retained its character with cobbled streets and old wooden buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Alingsås is known as the “Café Town”, due to its large number of cafés and bakeries. In recent years, Alingsås has increasingly also become known as the “Light Town”. Every October, around 70,000 persons visit Lights in Alingsås, northern Europe’s largest event for experimental lighting of public places.
Alingsås is known for Jonas Alströmer who is said to have introduced and popularized the potato in Sweden. Alingsås is sometimes called "Potato City ', and every year, during a week in June, it celebrated with a potato festival.
