Flat with a view and Old Town in walking distance
Our cosy flat is situated in Södermalm (the trendy bohemian part of Stockholm), with a lovely lake view, just opposite Stockholms Nobel Prize famous City Hall. Old Town is in a short walking distance. A perfect spot for exploring Stockholm. Museums, shopping, cultural and historical spots, everything is nearby.
Masterbedroom has a door to our green balcony, where we grow rhubarbs and have a kind of mini garden in the summer.
The other bedroom has a queen size bed, desk, sessel and a lovely view towards houses from 1750–1800.
The livingroom is equipped with a piano, guitars, books, tv, dvd and games. And The View!
Bathroom with bath tub, washing machine and drying facilities. Separate wc.
You can also use our car if we agree on doing that.
We prefer travelling on school holidays, but are also longer weekends during the year.
We are a family of 5, but our twin sons (aged 23) do not live at ”home” anymore and we will most likely be 2–3 travellers.

About the neighborhood
Our home is situated in Södermalm, the trendy bohemian part of the city. Södermalm has a relaxed creative atmosphere with a lot of small shops, cafées and restaurants.
A few minutes from our home is Skinnarviksberget, the highest natural spot for viewing miles ahead in all directions, a lot of people gather here for picnics in the sunset. Also nice for mornings walks.
The water quality in Stockholm is excellent. There are several public spots for swimming and sun bathing in the innercity area. Our closest is Tanto with a sandy beach and cliffs 20 minutes walk from our home – a very nice thing for relaxing after work or a day in the busier parts of the city…

We're a family that have done 12 intervac exchanges this far: New York, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Odder, Scotland and several places in France.
We are interested in art, literature, design, music and culture in many ways. And we enjoy outdoor activities, like walking, skiing, swimming etc.
