Brand new house for us with a large yard/garden. Great for family picnics with outdoor eating and pergola. Beautiful in-ground pool.
Easy drive to historic and cultural Philadelphia and beautiful Jersey Shore beaches. One hour drive to train station going to New York City. All can be visited and return home same day.
The photos were taken before we moved in. After September 2024, we will be completely moved- and all our furnishings moved. I will update photos then. You would not be living in an empty home!

We have participated in hosting guests, or being received as guests over 10 times, in addition to the 5 simultaneous exchanges listed. We enjoy art, culture, history, and nature. We are retired and can be flexible with time and duration of visits. Both of us have Master's degrees and enjoy discovering new stimulating places in the world.The convenience of our location on the east coast of the US- makes many cities accessible (Princeton, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Washington DC, and even Boston if you don't mind driving) .

FR1015506Nous avons eu l'occasion de rencontrer nos hôtes quelques jours. Ils sont accueillants et c'est une vraie expérience de vie américaine. Leur maison est située dans une zone rurale mais à l'intérieur d'un vaste complexe urbanisé . C'est une maison ancienne à côté de l'église car notre hôte est pasteur. Nous avons pu rencontrer des gens de leur communauté.
Nous n'avons pas fait beaucoup de cuisine et avons beaucoup circulé à l'extérieur donc nous n'avons pas beaucoup profité de la maison et ne pouvons pas juger les équipements. C'est une maison ancienne donc elle ne convient pas aux gens épris de modernité et de murs blancs mais elle est conforme à l'annonce. Il y a un vaste jardin avec un salon de jardin agréable.
La situation est à la limite du New Jersey et de la Pennsylvanie. Elle permet d'accéder à Philadelphie facilement. Une voiture est indispensable pour découvrir les villes de la vallée du Delaware. Nous avons gardé leurs animaux pendant l'échange ce qui était prévu dans le contrat.
